Can I customize the ASS style after conversion?
Yes. Open the converted file in Aegisub or a text editor to modify fonts, colors, positioning, and other style properties. The Default style is a starting point you can adjust.
Is timing precision lost in the conversion?
SRT uses milliseconds (3 decimal places) while ASS uses centiseconds (2 decimal places). The last digit of milliseconds is rounded, which is imperceptible in practice — a maximum difference of 5ms.
