Required Excel Columns
Your spreadsheet must contain these columns (case-insensitive headers):
- index: Subtitle sequence number (1, 2, 3...)
- start: Start timestamp in HH:MM:SS,mmm format (e.g., 00:00:01,500)
- end: End timestamp in HH:MM:SS,mmm format (e.g., 00:00:05,000)
- text: The subtitle text content

What timestamp format should I use?
Use HH:MM:SS,mmm format (e.g., 00:01:23,456). This is the same format used in SRT files. The converter handles the translation to ASS centisecond timing automatically.
Can I include ASS styling in the Excel text column?
The generated ASS file uses a Default style. To add custom styling, open the result in Aegisub and apply styles there. The text column should contain plain dialogue text.
Does it support XLS files?
Yes. Both XLSX and XLS formats are accepted as input.
Is my data secure?
