ASS to SRT Converter

• Platform Uploads: YouTube, Vimeo, and most streaming services accept SRT but have limited or no ASS support.
• Player Compatibility: SRT works in virtually every media player, while ASS rendering varies significantly between players.

ASS is a subtitle format originally developed for the SubStation Alpha editor. It extends the simpler SSA format with advanced features popular in anime fansubbing and karaoke:

• Rich Styling: Font face, size, colors, bold, italic, and outline control per line or per character
• Positioning: Place subtitles anywhere on screen with pixel-level precision
• Effects: Fade, move, rotate, and animate text with override tags
• Multiple Styles: Define named styles for different speakers or roles

• ASS line breaks (\N) are converted to standard newlines
• All dialogue entries are renumbered sequentially
